DAVE PLOW
       drums, blood

    email: david@mrplow.com
Radio Man
Dave is a Sound Engineer for Clear Channel Radio Houston. He's been affiliated with 101 KLOL since 1990! He started out as an intern named "Hook" with the now defunct but legendary Steven's and Pruett Show on KLOL. Rock 101 has been "Rockin'" Houston for almost 35 years. This  is theirlogo that was famous in the 80's.  He thought it was cool because all the "heads" at school had a Silver Surfer KLOL bumper sticker on their rides. Now Dave is busydoing soundengineering for all 8 Houston Clear Channel Radio stations. He works with 94.5 The Buzz (modern rock) and +93.7 the Arrow (classic rock) which are pretty cool too, buthe also has to work for Sunny 99.1 (can be heard in your local elevator) abd News radio 740Am KTRH. Uncool. Anyway, you'd think he'd be able to get Outlaw Dave (a different Dave all together) to play Mexican Smoke as a 420 song on KLOL one of these days, STAY TUNED.
Give Blood- Play Drums

Much to the Neighbor's displeasure, Mr.Plow used to practice in Jeremy's house behind Goode Company BarB-Que. Dave rocked so hard that he knocked holes in the sheet rock with his back and head... while playing. Many a gig has ended with the drums and Dave splattered with blood because he whacks his knuckles on the cymbals and drum rims. Now that's rockin' hard! Or is it drunken sloppiness? Make it to a Plow show and decide for yourself.

Crazy
Dave has flown ultralight aircraft since he was 16. He owned his ownat age 17 that he bought with money he made baggin' groceries. It was more important to him than his car. While other kids were busy trying to impress chicks with hotrods while cruising the strip in Alvin Dave was dropping love letters and flowers in the backyards of prospects, or dropping in for a landing in an adjacent field to a senior pool party and getting Charles Lindburg like receptions. The most recent episode of craziness had Dave flying his friends plane when after reaching an altitude of 500' the rudder control completely failed. Fortunately, Dave kept his cool (and Plow kept their drummer). Someone upstairs must have decided that it wasn't his time because Dave ended up crashing into the chain link fence around someone's pool. He says it caught him like a net right before smacking into a Heavy Metal garage. Yikes!
NickName?
Some call him Hook from his early radio days and others call him Bert, an abbreviation of his last name. From what I've seen he should be called The Cymbal Slasher. But really, the dude doesn't have a widely used nickname. Make one up for yourself if you want... call him by it and if he doesn't kick your ass I guess it's okay.
And he Listens to....
Dave doesn't  listen to StonerRock like the rest of the band (although the rest of the Plow has given him many Fu Manchu albums for Christmas and birthdays). I don't know why. Maybe he wants to keep his approach to that kind of music fresh. He can't be accused of copying a peer's style. maybe he just doesn't like it. I do know that he loves Rush and other music where themusicians are first rate, such as jazz. He grew up on a steady diet of Heavy Metal and Classic Rock. He's seen Molly Hatchett in concert like eight times. These days he's just trying not to hear something he's heard 999,999 times before and trying to save his hearing loss for times when it really counts, like Plow shows!
