I guess it was the Festivus of Cannabis? The 420 folks put on a nice festival at clubs throughout Houston- on their day 4/20/2002.   Thanks to the people 'in the know' for telling me finally what 420 was all about... now their affiliation with NORML makes sense. Got it.

Mr.Plow played at Walter's on Washington at precisely 4:20! The show started off good though the vocals were a little low and the Walter's club had to adjust to Mr.Plow's considerable volume... during the first song a light fell off one of the ceiling fans hit a young Plow enthusiast, Carlos, in the left shoulder then broke on the ground! After the first song the sound man and clean up staff made the necessary adjustments and gave Plow the go ahead simply shouting, "Grip it and F@#!ing Rip it!!"

Plow replied forcefully, "uhhhhh... well we'll try."

And Plow did RIP IT.... rocking Walter's back to the transvestite days of it's predecessor the MailBox. Plow hit the notes on "Master Blaster", "Right On", "Truck Stop Lovin" , "Molly" and ended the set with their first hit "Mexican Smoke"- which pleased all of us old school fans. The new songs really stood out... I need to learn their names.... but Justin is riffin'! Oh but of course, the band played 'Festivus' which seems to be a crowd favorite because everybody yelled at the same time when the '...Fight your Father' part came.

It was a great show and a great crowd- people were in to it... some people a little too much. Thanks for rocking Mr.Plow those were good times!

"Truck Stop Lovin'"

STORY OF THE DAY: Greg was trying to back up the Plow van through a packed parking lot, so he asked some of the hemp vendors if he could "back the van up any farther?"
The vendors say,"You got about two more inches dude". Gregs said, "you know how hard it is to drive a 12 passenger van 2 inches. You put it in gear and rolls more than that"
....We might have a 420 in progress.
