Fog Machine on! Mr. Plow's
show in the downstairs portion of Fitzgeralds was epic! Mondoz rocked the crowd. As
I had been warned, these guys are awesome... Super tight, heavy, cool riffs, good voxs,
and young as hell - the bastards! Then it was time for the Senior Circuit... Mr. Plow took
the stage around midnight with an early fog and a little 'Truck Stop Lovin' for the
folks. Plow then played their rendition of an Iron Maiden tune- so I was told, I
don't know much Maiden.. About halfway through the set Mr.Plow put on the brakes and
made good on their promise to tell the crowd's future. Jeremy Plow lifted up a huge
bag of Fortune Cookies and tossed them to the crowd... Inevitably this led to the throwing
of fortune cookies all over the place(Apparently some of the fortunes were not too
optimistic). I zinged Greg the Basser in the nuts once so he started playing bass in
his patented squat-rock position for protection as well as rockability. Dave's 'Master
Blaster' song sounded good again. Then Plow unveiled a new tune which was hilarious. It
was called 'Festivus'- in honor of Frank Castanzas' freakish holiday... they even had a
line about the 'feats of strength'... Legend! So as the food fight raged on the
music rocked! The 2nd to last song was 'Mexican Smoke' in which the Fog Machine
filled the room(thanks to Larry on the controls never letting go of the ON button). That
continued for the awesome finale 'Molly'. Larry and one of the brothers Mondoz came up for
guest vocals.... They raged the song till the end... that's a great song and Justin's got
a lot of veins in his neck. It was sweet! A rock show and free dessert.... One of Justin's
relatives and I were munching out on the fortune cookies- that's my favorite dessert
Coca-Cola and Fortune cookies. Confucius say- Great Night Plow Men. -check out Dean's
